The Beginning:

Picture a 72' fast trawler style boat weighing about 120,000 lb run up on a gently sloping grass/coral marl flat at about 18 knots so far that at low tide you could walk around beside it with out water even coming half way up your calves.
Now picture the amount of the removal bill after 3 days of work to get it off as carefully as possible.
Then add in the fines that will be assest for bottom damage.

The End:

Close your eyes and imagine the sound that a brand new, never in the water, 57' fly bridge cruiser makes as the rear sling attached to the crane slips and the aft end hits the water from 8 or so feet just missing the concrete seawall by inches.

Can hardly wait till next year!
