On my canal at least. Started melting a couple days ago and last night's wind broke the rest of it up. Won't be long till spring!

....still have some ice on my canal...... but a fair amount is gone. I think that should be the end of the ice for this winter.

Only about 20 days before I start to unwrap and de-winterize.......WAAAAHOOOO !!!!!
 
Most of the ice is gone here too but a lot due to the fact that quite a few people have bubble systems that were going strong. Either way, spring is almost here!
 
To me spring begins unofficially March 1st. Although it still may snow and the temps can still be below freezing and the winds still howl, the dark days of winter are over! And lets not forget that we turn the clocks ahead on March 11 at 0200!!!

Andy..3 weeks - I'm very envious.

I stopped down to the yard today to show the old boat to a prospect and to take a look at the progress on the Viking.

Boy I can't wait....
 
As u can tell from the weather report my wrap was due to come off monday.... wit hthe boat being waxed this week .....

Guess i need to come up with plan B

Yeah, I heard something about a Sunday night ice storm? Better leave the wrap on a couple more weeks!
 
Of course as of this morning they are waffling on what exactly the forecast is.

Could be rain, freezing rain, mixed precip or all snow.
 
3 differnt tv stations 3 different forecasts..

Well, my lawn is white already. Good thing I got to the boat today to get some work done on the engines!

Yeah, I like the snow actually, the ice storms aren't much fun though.
 
Just got to work.......roads are a mess....took me an extra 1/2 hour....snow sucks !!!
 
WTF,,,, 4 -7 inches.... where.....

I was hoping for a snow day....

i got like zero in the street maybe and inch on the grass.....

LOVELY.....
 
It still sucks! I just want to be able to wear my shorts, a tee shirt and flip flops
