My main boating friend and I have a very small beach near us that we like to hang out at when it's not already taken, but beaches aren't common in the delta. I've been told that there used to be a very good one on the Sacramento River, at the southern end of Sherman Island, but that after big boulders got placed there, it ruined the beach. I know that most of the few well-known beaches in the Delta are out of range for our equiment, but what are some of your guys' favorites?
