Anybody been there for dinner yet?

Reviews?

I've heard the people running it are quite nice and have previous experience running the now closed Flying Goose.

Our experiences with the Flying Goose were very hit or miss so I'm wondering if this place is worth checking out?

Hogan It's at SPBM. We ate there last week. Had two grilled chicken sandwiches with bacon and cheese. We thought it was good and plan to eat there this week but not on a rainy day. The prices are reasonable. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

Well don't plan on it !!. I'm sending this to you guys.

A rainy day like today isn't a marina day. We like to dine outside only on sunny boat days, watching boats bobbing gently in their slip.

Yes we were there Saturday Night. Food was good and priced good for being on the river. It is a small menu but everyone with us enjoyed there meals. The service was a little slow but I dont think they are in full swing yet since it is under new management and did not expect the number of people we had show up. She cleaned the place up really well, no more spider webs or dirt. We will definitly be heading back there again.

We also had some friends who did Haverstraws Resturant and again we were told they were served a raw hamburger. Its a shame since we were going back because I had heard they had been doing better. Oh well we will wait a little longer for that return...

Butch

Pattie had a hamburger at Haverstraw Friday night and it was shoe leather it was so over cooked. What the hell is so hard about making a hamburger at that place??????

My burger was perfect on Saturday. Anywhere else, I order medium rare, at Hudson Water Club it's medium well.

I wish I knew.. I have to say I did get some good food when it first opened, Now I cant say much good about it. Last mothers day I thought the cook may have been a fast food cook from mcdonalds or some where. So heavy on the salt we could not it it...Its a shame, I dont mind the extra in the price if the food was any good...Perhaps they will get it straight soon...
