are you drinking water from the fresh water tank. it could be the culprit, pour a little bleach in the tank, and then flush the tank out and filter the warer you put in the tank.
you can buy o
inline filters from rv supply stores. just hook it to your fill hose and you should be fine. roy

Nausea, often accompanied by vomiting are the first and primary symptoms of seasickness. I've never heard of the runs being associated with it.

Roy has a good clue.

Nervousness caused by overnight anchoring worries could be another. This resembles irritable bowel syndrome and is called "rode runs." It usually stops after a couple of successful anchorouts.

Stale food or beer stowed on a boat is another thing to watch out for.

There is an over-the-counter product called Imodiam A-D which will treat the problem so you can sleep better. Don't use it too often. If you frequently have this problem and have cleaned your water system as Roy advised, then see your doctor for further treatment.

its got to be the water from washing dishes
i do not drink it, but iam sure ive comeinto contact from it
also the anchor worries iam sure added to it too
the 1st time out i dreamed all night that i was drifting, bill

I remember some moonless nights on the hook where the current was strong and the wind howled around the boat. It was a solo trip early in the spring and the boat was bouncing around a lot. The Purasan got a pretty good work out.

Even with the use of bleach, I try to keep fom injesting the domestic water, too. Those 2-gallon plastic water bottles with the spigot are a safe alternative.

Bill, that reminds me of the first night I slept on my then brand new boat. We anchored out, had a great BBQ steak dinner and hit the sack pretty early. In my dreams the boat was filling up with water and we were going to drown!

Then I woke up and realized the current was rushing past the hull and the midship cabin was below the waterline. Thus the sound of water! It took me about a month to get used to hearing the water like that. Ever since, I sleep like a baby on my boat!

I've never known the runs to be affiliated with sea sickness. Suggest cleaning out your water tank as Roy suggests. While you're at it clean out the fridge.

If you hook up to shore water, STOP. Use the water in your tank, then refill it; it'll stay fresher that way.
