I'm getting so jealous that I'm thinking of taking the seal tour boat!
 
Are we crazy, my wife and I stayed on our boat the last two Saturday’s. We had a Caribbean party last week at the LIYC (ok yes I said it) and this week went for a Mexican Dinner at Don Ricardo’s in Babylon and decided to stay on board. The little heaters made the boat very warm. Since the head is winterized, we stuffed a porta-pottie in the head compartment, not the best setup but it works.

My dock area was the only area shoveled on all the docks. I did put a small hole / crack in my back Ising glass banging ice off with the handle of my shovel… I guess you can’t do that.

We have a 9 room house with a large fireplace, so I guess we are crazy.

What winter? This picture taken last week… in the Caribbean of our minds…

Umm... it’s either the LIYC or Treasure Cove…

P.S. Don you need to tell the owner of that boat to clean or get new fenders…. It’s going to bring down the value of your area….
 
Brad, your crazy!!! Wife and I spend our weekends in the house, fireplace going, movies, dog, cat, etc. I just can't see roughing it on the boat....there is all summer for that! I think the LIYC is the Local Insane Yacht Club!

Wow.. Dave we are so alike for the other 6 evenings a week, except we only have cats...

Actually it was not really roughing it was fun. It’s not like we do it every weekend in the winter where it would get boring. Last weekend it was planed since we knew were going to party hearty at the club. This weekend it was more spontaneous since it was fun the Saturday before. I really began to miss the sound of the water hitting the hull. The funny thing is, I think I sleep better on the boat than home. Strange but true…. Most likely we will do it again when we have our annual club St. Patrick’s party.
 
Yeah......Thats one of the old Silvertons on my canal. He's a die hard too.

As far as staying on the boat in 30 degree weather......... way too much " shrinkage " for me !
 
Don, shrinkage… I guess its all about what you start off with?

Let’s see now… following a great party and or a dinner out with friends, a very warm cabin, an after dinner brandy in a cozy boat cabin, a little cable TV, then… well shrinkage whats that ?… ;)
 
Brad.........Shrinkage is Shrinkage....even the big boy can fail.

Another funny one was when George got caught peeing in the gyms shower.
