Things to do/see in RI when you're bored

I don't think I could deal with a 2 1/2 hour (under the best of circumstances) ride to start and end every weekend.

The twenty minutes it takes me to get to my boat sometimes seems like forever!

I think he is the boss - so he could call in sick on Monday and Friday! :)
 
We usually leave Thurs. night and head home Sunday afternoon.

We use our boat almost every weekend that we are out there which is about 12 out of 16 June through Sept.

I would much rather travel 2 1/2 at 60-70mph than travel 6-8hrs down, out of the river, through the city, out through the Sound at 25 knots

Agree. We are 45 min to our boat in Chester on the CT River. Access to the best boating in New England is right there. Napatree is even better! Now only 155 days till launch.

Rick ~ looks like you enjoyed the area. Some of those huge logs in Mystic are from Katrina that the Museum procured in anticipation of the Charles W Morgan project.

Can't wait to go back by water and really get a chance to explore. This time was a quick in and out. Too much to see and do in that short period of time. The car club is planning a trip to OCC in the spring based on our lil' adventure. :-) We'll see if the celebs come out when 40-50 hot rods roll into their doorway! :-)
