Mark, we went to Watch Hill for Memorial Day weekend a couple years ago and I think got in no problem on Thursday. It's still early in the season and the kids are in school so it's probably a possibility. I haven't been to any of the other places on Fire Island in a while.
Using Brad's marina as a base and spending a night on the hook (raftup or not) is another possibility. Hopefully we'll figure something out where a few of us can get together as it gets closer.
