We're in the motorhome .....down in Daytona Beach..........thats a close second !!!! :)

Going to anchor out in Patchogue Bay. Thats my little slice of heaven.

Maybe my lab will swim, you never know.

Used the boat three times this season, worked all day Saturday and Sunday this week, just does not seem that boating is in the cards for me this year :(

Will be the first year that the weekly cleaning of the boat costs more than the fuel !!!!!

Walt ,
We have to do to what we have to do ! Just make sure u never forget to make time for urself . One day the ride ends!

...........and without any warning !

Was on boat all weekend. Nice weekend. Had to hit Bergen pump out. Love that pump out. Best sucker around. I hadn't pumped out in a while and tank was almost to top. Lots of crazies out on Sunday. I don't think the weather gets much better than this past weekend.

Saw my dock neighbor 2 slips over go out. He hasn't seen or used his boat since last year. Marina took it out last year and put it in memorial day weekend. He came down to use it for the first time. Took canvas off. Cleaned inside a little and took off. He even said he had coffee in a cup sitting at helm since last year. Now that is NOT using a boat. I was surprised it started!

Rob, where do you anchor out in peconic? I like that spot by that island. I think it's jessup neck?

Got back from our Shinnecock and West Hampton Beach trip yesterday. We usually take longer trips with more destinations, and 9 nights on the boat was not a record for us, but Linda and I had enough. Great weather overall except for Friday with some fog and misty rain heading from east to WHB. One thing to remember when in the sun and boating for a long trip is drink plenty of water. I did not this time and felt very off when coming back yesterday. A little extra booze and lack of water over 10 days can catch up with you. Been drinking a ton of water and some Gatoraid and feeling a little better, but not perfect. I am sure glad that I have today off from work, but now the chore of boat clean up.

Dave, I think Rob most likely was anchored more west near treasure cove. But I have dropped the hook in Smiths Cove between Sag Harbor and where the Ferries cross to shelter. When we took a spin around or traveling we always see boats anchored here and there.

Billy, we past your area around 10:30 yesterday, I know Marie said you would be out later so we kept on going.

Dave,
Just outside the locks there are these coves that are great to hang out in.

Also around Robbins island . ITs real nice in there.

Rob

Cool, trying to talk Walt into extending our labor day trip to more than just WHB.
If we come out, I would like to raftup in peconic.
Water is clear there, maybe do some snorkeling!

For clear water head to Robbins Island or even shelter Island. Water gets ugly west.

Rob
