I also believe in carrying damage control equipment. At least a couple plugs and a Nerf football. Bilge pumps don’t fix the problem, they just potentially slow it down enough to hopefully do something to mitigate it, then clear some water to regain stability once that’s done.A 2” hole 2 feet below WL will flow about 6000 gph. This is why early detection is so critical and testing bilge pump / high water alarms regularly is a must.
