Sadly our beloved Dockmaster has quit her job at Treasure Cove . We are now in search of a new destination . She was our sole reason for returning year after year. One would think during a transition period one would cherish employees not treat them like crap !

Lorna you will be missed ! You have touched everyone that has had the pleasure to meet you and Maggie !

Wish you the best with your new chapter

Andy the few extra miles adds so much car commute time . I dont know what we are going to do.

I never realized how many people boating brings u in contact with over the years. So many people have called and emailed me asking where to go now since it was posted that Lorna was leaving on there FB page. Funny how owners think its the destination that draws the people, when in actuality its their employee's that are the jewel and the key to the success!

Rob: I couldn't have said it better myself. We left our previous marina partially because of the roughness of Great South Bay and partially because the owners, though very friendly, left a great deal to be desired when it came to customer service, ending with charging for 22 extra days of land storage when the weather prevented them from launching boats and us from leaving the safety of the marina. It was the last dollars they'll ever see from us. I wouldn't be surprised if the marina goes on the market within the next year or so, especially since the owners' son decided that he'd rather be a truck driver than run a marina. Rob; hope you find a new home soon. Stay safe, all. Hy
