Tri State Boat Show at RCC March 16-18, 2007

Oy vey - its going to SNOW this weekend??????

One of these days I'm going to do a boat show where things go right [:-irked] ...

I need a bunch of Northstar stuff, will there be a vendor there with said brand?

Hmmmm, I doubt it. At least not on display. One of my wholesalers' catalogs has it listed, so if you'd like I can bring it and show it to you. (for those that are wondering its a different supplier from the one BoatFix and I both use, so we're not in competition) Those units are not commonly stocked by us small retailers. I'm having a tough enough time convincing the boss to stock the Humminbird units...

Perhaps, based on the forecast, we should be stocking SNOW SHOVELS...

PS - George, it was good seeing you today! I'm sure I'll see you again this weekend sometime...

Anthony, not sure how far you have to go to get there, but you might want to call ahead to somebody....I was there about 9:30AM and the place was locked up so tight you would have thought there was something worthwhile inside! Wanted to finish up a couple of things on some fishing boats from River's Edge, have to hope whoever visits them doesn't notice. Did anyone hear a cancellation notice on the radio?

Sorry I never got a chance to post today - the show was indeed open. I wasn't there - the boss told me to stay home and take care of other things. The show opens tomorrow (Sat) at 11...

I'll be there some time today, anybody else going???

Might stop by on the way to get some snow off the boat...

We are going to stop there tomorrow...
lots of snow removal to do today...

Mike, if you get here be sure to come by the Stingray booth - I have an envelope with your name on it, of all that travel stuff I promised you.

Good luck shoveling, everybody!!!

Couldn't make it today, I'll be there tomorrow.

Went today. It was worth the $8 for sure. Sat in on the Striper seminar. Talked to some sales guys. Bought my annual Sea Tow membership. Overall, had fun.

Mike, I'll be there from about 1 o'clock on...

millsan1, glad you enjoyed it! Those Hudson River guys do great seminars. And now you're safe from breakdown worries for another season! It sure beats shoveling snow...

Well we are hoping on going tomorrow around 12 or 1. Cant go boating due to mother nature so might as well spend money another way...

Hey, Butch! Stay away from my booth! You're bad luck. The last time I saw you at the Rockland Boat Show I went home and had a heart attack the next day!!! :)

Butch, if you are staying away from Pete's booth, spend some extra time at the stiper seminar and take note of the green & white banner in front of their table!

And when you turn around you will see two nice sport boats, would make perfect tenders for your MY, ask for Tom, he'll set you straight!

Pete, nice to see you. Thanks for all the literature!

Pete, Was good seeing you again...Also thanks for getting Steven on the Sensation. He was really impressed with it. If anything comes out of it he will get in touch with you...Looks like the show did well yesterday, hope it paid off for all of you hard working guys and made some money out of it. If nothing else alot of boats where looked at...Ya never know...

Thanks for the kind words, guys!!!

Mike, I hope that stuff helps you plan your upstate trip...

Butch, I appreciate you guys coming over and looking at the boat. And thanks for being patient - that guy that was onboard bought a boat yesterday (at least if we can work out the details of his trade, anybody need a 1998 Sea Ray 330 Sundancer???)

I was a bit embarrassed that I didn't plug Sunsation more before the show - I had no idea Steven was interested in those boats. I guess he saw Charles' postings on Offshore Only. Oh well, we live and learn. Based on the reaction we've had so far this year, those boats are HOT - we'll likely sell about 10 of them this year. That's good, because for some reason we've had a harder time moving the Stingrays. I don't know why, because they're good boats, priced right, and fun to drive. Perhaps other manufacturers/dealers are offering better incentives or something...

Anyway, when/if Steven is ready to pursue further just let me know...
