i have a mercruiser 165. my limit switch has failed. i was finally able to locate the switch.
its right underneath the gimball housing, it looks like i might have to remove the drive unit and possibly the housing. i can see it if i turn my wheel all the way to the right. it looks like a donut type switch. this is a alpha one unit. any suggestions on how to get this switch out?
