Any advice here from more experienced boaters on how best to secure your boat for a storm like this?
 
Double up your lines. Make sure you have nice long spring lines. Proper/over sized fenders, as many as possible.
 
Make sure your swim platform is as far away from dock as possible. Your lines will stretch. Most damage I have seen is platforms hitting docks.
 
Remove loose cushions/objects. Make sure canvas is secure. Double lines, move stern of boat forward away from dock. Make sure batteries are fully charged and bilge pumps working.
 
Oh lovely - sure glad I'm gonna be home helping to get the Tour de Putnam bike race ready... Yeah that should be a blast...
 
Looks like Danny is going to stay more off shore then originally thought. That said, the weather forecast still SUCKS!
 
This has to be the worst summers in terms of weather. Who pissed off mother nature?

We are down at the Channel Club in the rain with two young kids. Yippee.

Debating on renting a car to go home and come back for the boat next week.
