I figured I'd post this one here see if I catch any different recomendations.

I was put in charge of figuring out how and where we could go fishing for Tuna next spring/summer. I have between 4 and 6 guys looking to go fishing for Tuna next year and was wondering if anyone can recommend a boat that would be reasonably priced for an full day or overnight trip. I've never gone before, but am excited to make it happen.

Thanks,
MJK

King,
Great opportunity to catch Tuna or Shark out of Southern NJ or Eastern LI. Just be somewhat flexible on the trip due to weather and sea conditions.
Tight lines,

Spring is too early for tuna around here generally, wait till late summer or early fall. If you're going Sept/Oct especially do the overnight trip and you'll have a much better chance at fish. The 'reasonably priced' part might be hard though, it's a long run and between fuel and bait expenses are high and the trip won't be cheap.
