Does anyone have any experience or comments about TZ Marine? I am about to order parts and consider repair work to be done there.

I have found Jim to be a good mechanic - you have to stay on his good side though and check his work. Very cooperative if you are - not so nice if you are not.

I have used TZ for about 10 years. They are the only ones I let work on my boats. I have found him to be honest and trust worthy. He has done work both small and large including engine rebuilds and I have been happy with all work he has done. I was there yesterday and ask him to handle the project of making a template then installing a swim platform on my boat. I'm sure he will do a great job. You can tell him I said so.

I have purchase parts from TZ and at Patsy Bay. Both are good. I have not use TZ for any repair yet so I can't comment . Another good marina is Penny Bridge Marina. They are great to work with, and when they say it will be done, it will be done.

whenever i've needed work done on the engines i'd
call jim at tz.
very good service and no bs.
i'll use him him for the silverton also.

Thanks, just placed a large parts order with Jim. He seems to know what he is doing and was very helpful.

What made you order parts from him being your out of central NJ?

vided, Zoller's Marine in Croton sells Cruisers with IPSs....Mark Zoller is the head mechanic and a good guy (friend of mine)....he works on boats at HMB....they own most of the slips on the North Wall...you may have met him already...merely suggesting...if you need someone with IPS experience.
