When we have hurricanes, the debris goes otu to sea. Every high tide, the water pulls more debris off of the banks and into the river.
Low tides, less debris. The debris going down the river lasted over a year in our area for Rita and again for Ike.
Good luck, put the prop shops on speed dial. Gonna need it. Some of that stuff is suspended underwater where you don't see it.
