Almars outboard, in Newark DE usually keeps a nice supply of rebuilt engines on hand. Unfortunately they don't list the inventory on their web site, so you have to call. 302-328-8541.
Probably shops closer to home for you, but it's a start? Not sure what you are expecting to spend, but their Salty Dog add says "RE-MANUFACTURED OUTBOARD SALE - 90-250HP three year warranty with free basic rigging as low as $5,995. Call for details".
And they are in DE, so no sales tax!

Thanks alk, that could work, if the price is right and I can't find closer. My daughter goes to school in Washington DC so I drive through DE regularly.
I have no issue dropping off the boat, goofing off in DC and picking up on the way back. I will give them a call.
