Does anyone have any ideas or pictures of some shelving they put into their v-berth? I have a 1986 32 Mariner and somewhere in my surfing the web I saw someone had made some shelving along the sides of the v-berth that the curtains would cover when closed. I can't for the life of me remember where I saw them though.

I figured that would be a great place to store things like towels and such and free up cabinet space.

Take a look at the 32 carver Montego. It is the same hull and they made a shelving unit on this boat. The boat is essentially the same in the forward berth from the gunwale down.

Thanks,

Jim

Close to what I was thinking, but I remember seeing something simpler that someone had made with simple wood poles that went from the bottom up to top behind the curtain track and simple shelves to the boat side and then the curtains would cover it all up. The Montego idea is a good one, but more involved than I had thought.
