My wife and I are looking to go somewhere new this year. We like the outdoors, water of course and being able to site see and be active.
We've been to Bar Harbor, Maine (if you have not been there go) and we loved it. Charleston, SC was great and so was Kiawah, SC.
We are looking for something similar, on the water (not boating there though). Key West was nice though a bit hectic for us for a 1-2 week vacation.
We are thinking Vermont, Maine, prehaps the Great Lakes. Though we are open to other suggestions. We like to go where others have gone and can give their opinion.
We are not cabin or tent folks. Well, if the cabin had the modern stuff it would work. We like to go all day then come back to a nice room and relax.
Suggestions?
