I have a VHT 12 system that has worked fine. But after I pumped out the tank to winterize, the tank full light came on and the vacuum pump will not run. Access to the tank is difficult. I am sure the tank is empty. Any ideas?
Thanks
Greg

They never do mount them in a convenient place. I had the same thing happen on my VHT-12. There's a resistor inline with the indicator lamp. The resistor was located on the top of the tank. I replaced it with one from Radio Shack and all is well. The wiring diagram doesn't show it.

Sorry, I previously said diode and realized that in fact it is a resistor.

I believe the resistor is in series with the LED it is simply used to drop the voltage to the older stlye LED if it were to fail the LED wouldn't operate when the tank sensor was full.
