This is the pump I have in the engine room about 10' away from the head. It is another 7' to the holding tank. The pump is about level with the toilet. The area is very congested, so I wanted to build a shelf about 30" above where it is and put it up on it.

Will it effect the suction or performance?

Thanks,

Billy K.

I don't think the vacuum side will like sucking up hill and any unsucked stuff will want to flow back to the head. IIRC the instructions call for flat or down slop install.

Any failure or leaking of the joker valves will allow flow bach as well.

I hadn't considered backflow, thanks for the post.
