I changed my bowl and having a little trouble getting the pedestal cover to stay on the base. I have the screw part of the hose clamp in the back of the bowl so that it doesn't interfere with the cover. I can lock the tab into the base on the rear part of the cover but when I try to close the front part, it doesn't seem to come all the way to meet the rear part. Should it close completely behind the pedal?
