Bad enough the messy mechanics get pink stuff all over my new toilet seat & shower (why can't they be careful?)
So I'm cleaning up after the Winter lay up & doing my usual KO/CP thing with the head, (PHE11) nice & clean smelling! Someone suggested to the Cap that he pour some of this Head Lub oil down the head. Is this glop going to kill the KO? Should we pump out & start over? I NEVER put anything else in with the KO except the CP.

Hey be nice, I (hic!) stayed ssomber soober - I had onlee juist a widdel bit to dwink ofer the weakend...

Seriously though, I had two beers Saturday and one on Sunday - that was it!

The Head-Lube won't hurt anything as long as you don't go crazy with it. A little oil will float on top of the contents in the tank, slowing down the ability of the outside air to get in and mix with the contents of the tank. But if you don't go wild with it, it should be OK until the next pumpout. Just don't do it too often.
