I know I cannot dump overboard inside 3 miles. At 24.5 feet, I probably will never go outside 3 miles. That being said, how do I test to see if the macerator pump is working. Is there a solution I can put in the tank? Does the impellor need to be lubed? If so, how? The system came as part of a "weekender package" the original owner purchased when he bought the boat new. I want to be able to tell the next owner it works when we step up.
