Has anyone ever removed this tube? It looks like the pivot housing needs to be removed in order to remove the tube? I can’t find any instructions in the Volvo penta stern drive manual.anybody have a link? Stern drive seems to be sucking air and I change the water inlet tube in the lower drive with the bushings and seals. With a garden hose hooked up directly to the raw water pump The boat runs nice and cool, but when I make it suck water through the drive, hardly any water is coming in to the raw water pump. last year the boat failed the bubble test, so I knew there was a breach in the drive. (Ty Lou)Upon looking atthe water inlet tube it had a hole in it.(see attached)
