May need to find another marina to do some warranty work on my Volvo Penta ram -- the steering is not powered. Is Pennybridge the best place to go?

Pennybridge does great work but not sure if they do Volvo warranty work. They are master merc guys though.

Call Pennybridge and ask for Steve. He will help you out.

From Volvo's site Pennybridge is authorized. Haverstraw is Not. And I wont recommend the other guy.

I have Volvo Penta engines. Bought my boat new from Pennybridge and they took care of all my warranty work. There are other marinas authorized for VP in the area but Pennybridge would really be your best bet.

The other option is Westerly Marine in Ossining, they are a VP rep (or, at least WERE, when I got my boat in '03.) regardless, keep in mind that if the boat needs to be hauled & blocked, you're footin' the bill for that part . . ..

Thanks, I'll give Steve a call next week. General consensus (free, and you know what that's worth) is that the boat won't need to be hauled to fix the ram. Just want to get it done before I start looking like Popeye.

Gene, turned out it was diagnosed as the steering actuator. Stony Point says it's on "national backorder" and will be in on the 9th, so I'm hanging in there. Part of the delay was that SPBM appaarently thought it was an "extended warranty" issue, so was waiting for Volvo's permission / approval. Talked to Wayne and explained that the boat was less than a year old, and he's apparently made things happen there.
