Hi
My MD1 Volvopenta gear selection mechanism works well (smooth and easy transition between forward, neutral and reverse) when the motor is newly started or is not turned on, but after running for a while it is not possible to shift the gear out of forward. Once the motor cools down, the transition is once again smooth and easy. A Volvopenta dealer offered no explanation and appeared more interested in trying to sell me a new motor!
