Looking to purchase 2005 or newer Sundancer 40-42 /w diesels, in clean shape, pref not a salt water boat ... should anyone in the forum be looking to sell theirs.
 
I HAVE 2009 35DA LOOKING TO SELL SOON GREAT SHAPE BUT IT IS GAS NO SURE IF THAT IS WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR.
 
Just curious. Why Sea Ray? Do you currently have a sundancer and just like it and want to move up down. Also why 2005 vs. 2000 or 2008?
 
Bob, to help define your search, the 420 Sundancer (420DA) was introduced in 2003. It was available with Cummins C-Series 8.3L diesels. In 2006 that model was renamed the 44 Sundancer (44DA). Significant changes during production included the hard-top becoming standard, and hull-side windows replacing regular portlights.

The 390 Sundancer (390DA) was introduced in 2004. It was available with Cummins B-Series 5.9L diesels. In 2006 it was renamed the 40DA, and it too got the hull-side windows.

I'm confused, what part of 40-42 equals 35 and when did diesel mean the same thing as gas?????

Just saying...

I have a 2005 390DA, twin diesels...cummins QSB's.

41' LOA (this is really the 40 dancer exactly)
600 hours
Twin C120 chart plotters
Raymarine open array radar
Bow thruster
Diesel onan generator
New SS fridge and freezer
Blue hull. Had entire hull painted with awlgrip end of last season....absolutely spotless and factory-new finish

Let me know by PM if interested. Meticulously maintained and ultra clean inside and out. I'm looking to move up to a 48DA.

I just sent you a PM. I know of a 2005 390Da with QSB380s As clean as new and dealer maintained since new.

Good luck in your hunt. I had a 2004 390Da w/ QSB and it was a great boat.

Just to close this thread ... purchased on Friday a 2004 420 Sundancer is extremely clean condition. Will have to change my profile now :)
