Watch Hill this weekend

The federal knuckleheads do not want to electrify the day slips due to concerns about the "carbon footprint". These same geniuses don't consider boats there with their generators running a worse problem.
 
I won't even get started witht the federal rocket scientists responsible for running this jewel into the ground. Somehow the Park Service and their 5 or 6 boats make sense to run back and forth instead of taking the ferry....ok I guess I did get started a little. Serenity now, serenity now....
 
I sometimes wonder if the best thing for us would be the federal goverment go bankrupt, sell watch hill to the highest bidder, and let it go private. Yeah, I know the costs would go way up, but maybe FOWH could become new owners and thru donations and slip fees, keep it somewhat decent place. It's obviosuly able to survive on current fee structure and with more slips it would be even better.

Yo Obama, let me know when the short sale is, I will come down and buy it!!!
