Last fall I had my water pump replced on my 200hp o/b Merc. Went fishing and it was time to store it for winter. While changing my lower unit oil I noticed several OZ of water dumped out. Now the same mechanic tells me it could be several things that coused that, he knows one thing for sure and that is the price range,
$200 to $300 dollars to get it repaired. I told him maybe its a gasket from the fill hole, he said no way.
Should I be looking out for anything in specific? I hate going to the cleaners!
