Water in transmission fluid

My '82 3007 is undergoing extensive inspection in time for charter season. All systems checked out well except for some water detected in the port transmission. They will flush and check for leaks. Can anyone go over my best and worst case scenario, including price. Engines are a 220 hp Crusader.

My charter manager thinks they caught it early. There has been no symptoms of any transmission problems. Both sides shift smoothly.

yup, trans/oil cooler. When were they changed last?

They were probably the original. Is it a major job to replace?

no, not bad at all. Need to get the trans fluid free of water quickly though.
