In an effort not to jinx myself, I've been holding off telling everyone that we finally pulled the trigger and bought another boat. The closing is tomorrow (via the mail). When we were on vacation in August, the family and I looked at a couple of Silverton 330s that were for sale in New England (RI,NH).
We chose the one in RI mainly becuase it had crusaders and is otherwise fully loaded(genset, radar, plotter, icemaker, windlass, etc). The survey happened last Tuesday when myself and Mr Prisco took a private flight from Danbury to Warwick, RI for the survey. Al's teamed up with a private pilot for surveys out of town...a comprehensive survey and an exciting trip.
I don't have any pictures uploaded but the boat is a 2001 and is the "new" layout which is the same as the current model 330 SB silverton's website.
I'm hoping to take her home next Thursday/Friday. I just wanted to break the news so that when you saw me asking many questions, you'll understand why. When I get time, I'll upload some pics.
And yes, against all the advice of youse guys...I am now a proud two boat owner...oy vey!
