Looks like this weekend is going to be a bust. I was hoping to get something done. I thought I might pull the cover and start the cleanup. I guess if the rain lets up for a little I can start scraping the bottom and prep for paint.
 
Up to 4" of rain! My cover stays on another week.
 
At least it ain't snow. This doesn't bode well for the summer. You guys are already griping about the weather. Sounds like you need change.
 
PLEASE do not use the "c" word outside of NBR. ;)
 
I should have left my boat in Ft. Myers and just moved there...
 
Mike it's been rotten down here. We figure if we were to stop coming south to use Freedom in the Winter the weather would improve dramatically. Today we're sitting at the dock and it's like being home at Lincoln Harbor without the creaking and banging.
 
Dan I'm sure you had a great Winter don't expect us to feel sorry for you. Most of us would kill to have one winter like you have had the last two.
I hope to see you again back north I was nice to hear about your last trip I sure it would nice to hear about this years as well. Have a save trip back. When are you returning?
 
News just said that if this rain was snow it would be over 3 feet!
So be happy for small favors!
At least its filling my pool so I won't have to add water!

When do we return? Wow. Good question. We were thinking that this Summer we'd bring her up North again but now it looks like next year. We gave up our slip even though it was (thankfully) being held for us if we wanted it. We'll see how things work out. I have a mess of work to do on her and it's next to impossible over here or during the Summer heat down South. Maybe we'll keep her wet this year and make a few trips down to work on her. One way or another we'll be up North for the Summer. Anyone want to buy a condo?

As for the condo do you plan to live aboard when you sell? The condo has a great view of the Rondout yacht basin and looks like a nice place to retire but I have some time before that and I will probably go south when the time comes.
Best of luck with all your decisions I'm sure you will enjoy what ever you decide to do.

As for me I'm still suck in the rain and a work stiff for some time.
