Unfortunately my marina shut power down so I had to shut down my webcam. So I was looking around and found this one in Colleran Park Massapequa. I grew up in Massapequa but I am not familiar with this park. Anyone know how high the grass in this cam is from the water level? Anyone know any other good cams on south shore? I know about the bunger surf cam, I will watch that one as well!
Thanks!

If you look at the Hatteras cam now, there was a jetty, its under water and the water is rising there.
In last hour it has come up 2 feet in that cam!

Anyone watching that Hatteras cam, in the last 30 minutes water has come up alot.
Look at the noon pic in the lower left corner.
Wow!

hard to see but indeed the water looks very high.

my cam is up and running, http://www.sandbarhopper.com/webcam.html but there probably won't be much action here in Nantucket, looks like we're in for just 50kts or so... we're in the Boat Basin, facing due east and the entrance. winds are from the SE right now, shoudl be be easterly early on then shift to the S and SW as the storm passes to the NW and N on nantucket. Looks like CPA will be about 120NM. Winds will be shifting around our stbd side, but we have a pair of dolphins (off the bow and stern) to keep us off the dock on port.

Pascal,
I saved this pic earlier of Hatteras. You can see wide expanse of grass. There was a bulkhead going all the way out but its covered in this pic. Also notice the sculpture or something in this pic. Compare it to the cam above and you will see water has risen. Look for the sign to the right of the sculpture!
