What did you name your boat?

Thought this would be fun...

I named my boat "U ONLY LIVE ONCE"

Well, we thought we had named in last year and even had the graphic made and were waiting until this spring to put it on. Now we think we might change it (women can never make a decision!). So here are the two choices.......maybe I can get some votes on these. A little background.............I lost my leg 5 years ago but still do my boating. Our two choices are LegASea (which we have ready to put on) and "Last Leg" (which we would order). Both have the "L" in the shape of a leg and foot to look like the letter L. So............what do you think???
 
We went looking at boats as our two kids were getting ready to head off to college, leaving us as semi-empty nesters. Saw one that was perfect for us, made an offer, negotiated the deal and managed to make everything happen in time to take it on our annual vacation.

Named her "Perfect Timing"
 
Bought a 24' Searay named CurrentSea (guy was a banker)
Traded it in for a 34' Cruisers so I called it CurrentSea Exchange
Next boat will be bigger and will be called "No CurrentSea left"
 
"JACKIE OWES IV" next one will be JACKIE OWES MORE or JACKIE OWES TOO MUCH.

I like "LAST LEG" for the Circumstance at hand (or foot) i thinks its perfect!

kinda a funny how we pick our names....

I agree, I like the way "Last Leg" sounds. Other then for your reasons, to me it means "safely coming home from a great journey" Am I reading into this to much?.

Anyway, I named my boat "Endless Quest", as I always seem to be searching for somthing "just over the horizon".

Adam, I like your way of thinking on this one too............just might have to order Last Leg for the Trophy. Maybe I'll put the LegASea on the ugly old bowrider we have!
 
When I met my wife, I used to call her "Bright Eyes" hence the name of our boat, "Bright Ayes". Have a graphic just below the name which is two large woman's eyes with long eyelashes and big red hearts as pupils and just below the graphic in spanish I have written "Usted Tiene Mi Corazon!" which means in english, "You Have My Heart"

By the way, BJL, love your sense of humor. So important to look at something in a positive way that many people would consider terrible. Great attitude. With that in mind, I would like to toss in my suggestion for a name of your boat based on your line of thought - How about "On My Last Leg" or "Give Me A Leg Up - Will YA!"

Thanks Bright Ayes! Your suggestions are good ones but too many letters and not enough space. Think we're gonna stick to one of the two we thought of.
 
My ex told me one day that I didnt work! I only recreate. I didnt think it was a word. Well It isnt, but recreator is. "one who enjoys recreation". I swore to myself that one day I would have that boat I always wanted and I would name her "Recreator". I now I do. Lettering is like Terminator movie logo.

When I trade up to the 42' I'll name her R2. in the same lettering as T2!

Victory is sweet. I luv the smell of seaweed in the morning. smells like victory! but thats a different movie!

Windy Clipper was the name of my fathers boat and his plane in WW2. My father had so many miisions he was labled a D.A.V at the end of the war. His plane was a lucky one and never had any fatalities .....

Radio Waves

Both my wife and I were in the radio industry for many years. Stock options and a bonus here and there helped support the big boating habit. Now we both are applying our same skills in different areas, she in finance and myself in IT management, just in a different industry. No more stock options [:-cry] yet …. ;)

I think our next boat may still be Radio Waves.
 
Walter, I missed reading the post about your dad, sorry to hear about your dads health.

Your boat name is a nice legacy to his past and a cool boat name.
