I get up this morning and there is SNOW on my deck.

Oh well I guess its over!

Move north Butch. There's nothing up here.

SNOW????

Geez, before you know it, boating season will be over...

5" on my picnic table in HIGHland Lakes, NJ. Slush on the roads. Glad the boat is all shrink wrapped.

How do you boat with Hogan on the hard? (So depressing to see that as I drove by your marina yesterday!)

Just think how depressing it is for US!

Butch,
That "crap" usually costs us $2.50 a bag in the summer!
I guess the word "cold" is relative...hmmm?

Sorry I wont be depress until tomorrow. Ilene and I are going up one last time to take her out for the short warm winter!!!!! It was not that bad this past weekend. Sunday was the nicest. Finished decommisioning and was invited to Relentless house for home made chili and an outdoor fire with marshmellows. Very Very Niiicce!! Thanks Bobby and Tracey..

83 here today in Palm Coast, returned today from our winter cruise to Georgia.

I guess they like you better, we were not invited

It was 57 degrees down on my boat last night guys. For mid November I think that's damn good.

Engine block heaters coming in next week.

I have another few weeks atleast.

How cold does the water have to get so that the reverse cycle heat doesn't work anymore????

My manual says the unit should only be used with water 40 and above. It does work below that but anything more than a few degrees lower and you risk freeze up as you remove heat from the water.

Thanks for the info. I kinda thought that 30 difference in water temp to actual output was about right.

Water is in the low 50's now so I have some time still.

Jonathan

'Tell you what Jonathan, we'll slow down the delivery of colder water from up this way.

Hello fellow counter-part boaters of the Right Coast. Would you like me to tell y'all what's coming your way in about five days?

Or not...

Mike, would you please stop sending awful weather our way?

Mike, I'll be heading your way in a few weeks, the annual Christmas visit to Rochester to see the girlfriend's parents. Looks like Red Wing isn't that far from there.

Great boating weather this time of year (ugh).
