Whats your launch date?

Sure hope so Butch, latest long term weather forecast has a warming trend coming up, but we know how that can change!

Judy, you are putting the pressure on me to get in early. Otherwise how else can they use me as your landmark??

Mike,
No pressure, she just has to wait till your in...

Thats 2 of us...Last week Steven pulled out his VHF and GPS. He said he was pushing it...

They say its going to start warming up so perhaps it wont be long and it will be time to take off the cover...

All I have to do is look out the window and see the creek is quite solid still. It's enough to make me wait a bit longer.. The ice has to be a foot thick.
But wait! There's More!

Hey Pete tell your buds at the anchorage to watch this station closely. NOAA is concerned about next weekend in our area....
Here's an excerpt from the NOAA long term forcast (hydrology)

quote:

MAIN CONCERN AT THIS POINT
IS A STORM SYSTEM WHICH IS EXPECTED TO LIFT NORTH FROM THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY NEXT WEEKEND INTO THE WESTERN AND CENTRAL
GREAT LAKES REGION. THIS STORM MAY ALLOW MILD AIR TO MOVE INTO THE
REGION BY LATE IN THE WEEKEND. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME
RAINFALL AND TEMPERATURES WARM ENOUGH TO RESULT IN SUBSTANTIAL
SNOWMELT..

I don't think we have as much on the ground considering only one storm has contributed to the "cap" but this could get ugly also..

Dan...are you saying mother nature may launch us really early this year? At least we wont have to pay Nick Robertti the $100. Better put in the bottom plug then....

Pete, we'll be in Florida.... you can pilot my boat out of the parking lot if you like. ; )

Mark it ain't me sayin' that! But we do have that little tidbit from NOAA. They did have this last snow storm right, and in advance.
Have fun in Fla.. Are you looking for another marina again? :D
