My kids love playing around on sandy areas and I'm starting to identify the better areas. They're not so big on the muddy areas, and I can't blame them for that!
It took me three years to realize this (duh) but it's pretty clear that the more wooded and leafy and area is, the muddier the bottom is -- lots more bio mass. Long shoals and points tend to be sandy.
Magothy/Gibson is pretty good, as are the little islands in the Rhode River. I've not gone to Fairlee yet. Any others?
