Where is eveyone?

Come on now, let's not badmouth the JETS!!

You forgot to mention her Irish Coffee Bob. YUMMY!

Leigh;

It may be Yankeeland, . . . . but it is RedSox Nation. Stop by Green Dock and check it out.

Definately not a Jets fan, but that is most likely a result of having no connection to football in general.

But about this baseball thing: you chide me for rooting for a team 15 games over .500 while you staunchly root for a team 7 games "under" .500. I guess it is always about the 26 championships [:-blindfold]

You can get to a Mets game on your boat, can you dock your boat near Yankee Stadium and walk to the ballpark?

I spent a season on Green (2005)... what a bunch of Derelicts..LOL

Leigh, you spent a year on a dock with a "bunch of derelicts" and you are now with a "bunch of dock marys"

I know.. Sad isn't it.... I have found that a majority of Dock Mary's are Derelicts....

I am sure you know that I am just busting balls.. The METS are having a great season indeed... And my beloved Yankees... not so much.BUT it is only June... many more games to go. (thats what I have to keep telling myself)..

Also.. Maybe the new stadium will have a facility for boaters to go to the games.. I have suggested that many times via the Yankees website....

What are you trying to say? It more like you couldn't man up to the Green dock experience and ran off to the sound. [8D]

BTW - Go METS and JETS.

Leigh, did it look like I was taking you seriously? I get pretty defensive when it comes to baseball, it isn't boring it is so misunderstood. My godfather was a locksmith in Harlem in the 50's, so I got to hang out in Roy Campanella's liquor store and met everybody, Jackie, Gilliam, Newk, Joe Black and there was no love lost on the team over in the Bronx. The feelings run pretty deep and the championships don't matter much, it is about the purity of the game.

OK, so start a petition for dockside parking on the East River to attend Yankee ball games, it would be cheaper than going to World's Fair Marina!

BTW, happy Father's Day, the next one will be the real McCoy - now who is busting chops?!!

You can take a NY Waterway Ferry to Yankees Stadium. I wouldn't want to leave my boat docked on the East River in that neighborhood.

Jonathan

Hey Jonathan, where do you get the "Buff Magic?" I haven't seen it in any boat stores, am I shopping all the wrong places?

Apologies for hijacking the thread, the devil made me do it[:-devil]

If you get over to the west side of the river Worst Marine has it George. I picked up a can there to give it a try.

It would be nice.. But I have to agree with Jonathon, I would be nervous docking in that neighborhood.

I am offended. I moved my boat last weekend so therefore I am not a Dock Mary. Derelict OK but no Dock Mary. Meet me on the docks Friday evening and we will have a few drinks to discuss this matter.

George,

Boaters World sells it too.

I wish Les would start carrying their product line.

It's all good stuff.

The foredeck on my boat it like a mirror now.
