Where to anchor out with the dog?

I have been reading the form for sometime now but this is my first post. I am looking for places to anchor out with a 70lb lab. I have a sea doo sports boat for a dingy and trying to find somewhere to anchor where there is shore that is not all rock that the skiers have not inundated seems to be few and far between. I am out of Oxbow Marina. Any ideas would be appreciated.
 
If you come down to San Pablo, anchor at China Camp. You can take the dog ashore at the village or other state par, but not McNears Beach,, which is a dog free county park. It has palm trees, China Camp Village has a long wooden pier.

Not an anchor out, but Marina Bay, Richmond has some great dog walking, is right on the Bay Trail.

Angel Island is a no dog zone.
 
3 Rivers Reach has a couple sandy areas on the west side and on the east side just past the entrance into the area.
 
If you head upstream on the Georgiana Slough there is a beach about a mile from Walnut Grove where you can anchor stern in and the dog can swim to shore. There is also a little doggy beach at Mandeville Tip just before you get to the cut through the island. There is a trash can and a picnic bench.

You may also want to get the dog used to climbing the rock levees because in many cases, that is all you'll have. You can carry a little anchor to keep the jetski off the rocks, or train the dog to go up and do his business and then return while you stand andd hold the jetkis off the rocks.
 
If you have a transom door, put some astroturf on the swimstep and teach the dog to use that. It is easily cleaned and makes a great poop deck.
 
I have my dog trained to use potty pads. But he is small Maltese of 7 lbs., not a 70 lb lab!!!!

Mildred [flooded] Island has areas with access to land for dogs.
 
I'm curious about the "astroturf on the swimstep" idea. Could you explain how the "poop deck" is cleaned up? It seems to me that the droppings might penitrate into the astroturf, have you found that to be a problem and if so how do you take care of that?
 
I was going to suggest someplace secluded or where you didn't know anybody until I realized you were talking about a real dog.
