Which sealant???

I'm replacing the gimbal housing and inner transom plate (because of extreme corrosion), and I cannot seem to find a "how to" that tells me which sealer to use on the gimbal housing to transom. I am assuming use bellows adhesive to hold the rubber seal to the housing, but should I do the same to the transom?
BTW, Alpha one...
BTW also, I already added a galvanic isolator and a Mercathode system so this doesn't happen again...

I have used 3M yellow weather strip adhesive, to attached the seal to the housing. the rubber seal just seals against the transom.
