An hour ago, it felt like 99 degrees, nasty storms are now blowing through, plenty of thunder and lightning, sideways rain and wind! The temperature must have dropped 20 degrees.

The same thing happened on the north shore of Long Island a few hours ago. Hoping for a cooler day tomorrow.

Yup....completely shut down the Oysterfest over here in Norwalk. Heavy winds and bad lightning knocked down a bunch of tents and made a mess of the pace.
Good weather right behind though.....

It was a nasty storm that rolled thru last night but it should be a great day today:)

We have been at the Channel Club since Friday, leaving tomorrow

Channel Club? Is the pool still open or did it close last week?

Love the channel club. Had a great day today, didn't leave the marina. Great weather and tonight another night on the boat. There were fireworks right on the other side of the river.

Pool is still open for another week or two. Great fireworks last night.

What happened after the squalls Hogan opened with had passed through?

Our WX pattern here in NE FL has changed quite a bit in the last week. Less PM T'storms but more rainy days.

Once they passed, the temperature dropped about 20 degrees and the humidity disappeared. Yesterday was beautiful, we spent the day at the beach, before heading back to the pool and the tiki bar.

We had a great time, took about 4 hours to get home, Sandy Hook Bay was very nasty, took loads of water over the bow.

You guys took off early this morning. I was about to leave for work and saw all three of you gone!

Did you make it to the Kitchen Witch?

No, we saw the wind forecast and decided to get out before it got worse. The bay was very snotty - lots of water over the bow.

Great seeing you and Robyn, we had a blast.
