Hey, Guys- Getting lots of sun on the river and the front glass is not designed to open. I will be getting snap-on covers for the windshield, but, I thought I would consider getting them tinted. I see other boats with heavily tinted front glass, but, I think they often are on those that open. I'm in a slip on the river and do occasionally boat at night. I can easily see over the windshield. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Tinted glass will be much more difficult to see through at night. As long as you can see over the windshield if needed, I would say go for it. We have a lot of tint companies here in the sunbelt. The last I heard, titanium tint was the top of the line and has a lifetime guarantee-if you have it professionally applied. I've used Home Depot tint on my home windows and you get so-so life out of it, but the price is much less.

Great...thanks. I'll check to see if there are any CG specs I should know about...like they have for percentage tinting on cars. I'd hate to get written up if I spend the money on it!
