Now that the season is winding down, what plans do you have to maintain sanity while you wait for spring? I'm looking forward to the boat show in January, not to buy but just to breathe in the boating air. We may fly down to Florida for an extended weekend some time over the winter to visit our daugter-in-law's parents in Las Olas and go out to lunch via boat on the inter-coastal. I have April 1 circled on the calendar for launch date. Hy

Hy,
we put a door in the shrink for winter boat time ... It actually helps with the withdrawal

Rob

I like that! We have a shrinkwrap door also. I have to use the 6' ladder to reach it! We also plan on eating fish at least once a week (salmon, mashed potatoes, and green beans tonight). I've got to go cook right now. Hy

bought a Porsche I will be restoring over the winter

Staying in and putting a Hurricane 11 heating system in. Plan to spend as much time as I can on her.

A trip to Jamaica over thanksgiving. A trip to CA in March and maybe a trip to FL in January. I think I will survive

I too bought a Porsche to play with this winter. What a friggin awesome toy!

May this winter be mild and dry on Long Island, with plenty of snow north of us for skiing!

No no wedding ......NO

Trust me ... The ring changes everything

AND THAT WORD DOES NOT BEGIN WITH AN F OR A BJ, HA HA GOOD LUCK MATT, ALL WILL BE WELL

Weddings are good. Don't listen to the nay-sayers. (Our 46th anniversary is this coming March) Porsches are good. Restoring a car is good. I'm hoping to restore one also sometime in the future, if my spine heals properly. I used to do that when I was in college to earn some money - buy a wreck, fix it, and sell it. (Dad owned an auto repair business in Manhattan.) Now I'd like to restore one just for myself. Anyone know of a 1959 Dodge convertible for sale??!!! Hy

My daughter's wedding a week from Saturday.

Hopefully a bunch of trips to FL after that.

The engagement ring, the wedding ring and the suffering...

I'll be fine, Thanksgiving, then getting ready for Christmas and New Years - celebrating all three holidays.

Early January, I'll be in Aruba for two weeks.

Super Bowl early Feb, then take the cover off and back in the water by April.

Marriage is like a deck of cards: initially you need only a heart a diamond; eventually you want a club and a spade.

Weddings are great........as long as they are someone else's. :)

Plenty of snowmobiling then a 10 day bareboat charter (power, cant` sail to save my life) in BVI in March, come home and get ready to launch, gonna be a short winter!
