Does anybody know of a place that will let you store and work on your own boat.Western suffolk south shore. What they charge Thanks
 
I dont know the name of the place but its where the ferry dock is ... Im sure someone will post the name. U can do as much or as little as u wish. Usually sells out though

Plus $25 a foot for storage at the Anchorage...

Karl Tank in Lindenhurst is another possibility, I'm not sure of their current price.
 
Walter....... do you want inwater indoors.....or out-of-the-water indoors ???

.......a few days ago there was a listing on Craigs List.....for inwater indoor boat storage in Amityville for rent.
 
Walter, can't think of anything local. A friend of mine has kept his indoors in Mattituck the past few years but that's a long way. I don't know of much indoor storage on the south shore.

before SS3 was sold.......there was talk of them building an indoor winter storage building........... but $$$$$ won.
 
I think the Anchorage did it years ago but the building caught fire and every boat inside was destroyed... Not a big fan of indoor storage, it's also very expensive.
 
You can use my garage. We will just have cut your boat in two and remove the flybridge. It should all go back together as I hear Silvertons are designed for easy dis-assembly.

It's not really western Suffolk but Steins Marine in Sayville will do it, 631-218-6848, unsure of the $ though.
 
For out of water in doors, I believe Rutherig in Lindenhurst has it. However it is usually full up and people hold on to their spot so I don't know that you'd walk in and get one. I bought a boat that was stored indoors there and was given the option to stay there, but I had to tell him by such and such date or I would lose the spot to someone waiting. I let it go as I store in water at the house now. This was several years ago.
