How do most people winterize a fresh water cooled inboard engine. Mainly the coolant side of things. I've never done it but will this year. My thought is to pull the intake hose off and put it in a pail of rv antifreeze, run the engines, and be done. How much antifreeze would a 5.0 liter with v-drvies require to run through the system. Is there a better way.

Obviously fuel stabalizer and fogging too.

I winterized my FWC Crusaders by putting the intake hose in a 5 gallon bucket of Sierra anti-freeze, mixed 50/50 with water and shut off the engines when the anti-freeze was just about gone.

Same as Greg including same AF. Two gallons AF mixed with 2 gallons of water. Remote starter device in engine compartment helps immensely, especially if working alone. While this is happening; I'm pouring Marvel Mystery Oil down carb, regulating RPMs to prevent stalling.
Prior to the above I run fresh water thru engine & heat oil prior to changing with new filter. A lot more stuff but that'll protect raw water side of engines.
