My Sea Ray restoration project continues... I asked a local marina if it was ok to lift up the front of the engines to remove front motor mounts (drive removed, of course, and careful not to hit or stretch anything) because adjuster nuts were frozen. They said no problem. I got everything installed and aligned but both motors vibrate the boat at a range of 1200-1500 rpm (smooth at idle and higher). Is this just normal resonance or did I foul something up with rear mounts? Or, are the front mounts defective? I looked at the rubber bushings and there were no signs of exterior cracking. Any help or info on test would be appreciated. Thanks. Somedays I wake up and wish I had the money for a newer boat...
