WOW screwed with again

I thought it looked familiar!!! I used to love that place in the winter but just haven't gotten around to going there for years now. Maybe it's time to go again............once we get out of painting hell (we're painting the inside of the house now!)

Good catch walter.... So don where there any boats there ?

Rob

YES.........Walter is a good catcher !!!!

We did take a ride over to Montauk Yacht Club.........but not one boat in the water...looked like a ghost town. Did see a few go by in the ocean though.

I think I am finally getting my starboard switch panel replaced this week.

Oh and I am going to replace two 3" vents under my port side seat... Thats going to be great....

......." Oh and I am going to replace two 3" vents under my port side seat... Thats going to be great "....

Brad......What happen to them ????

Over the years with cleaning and maybe banging into them, the vent plastic strips broke, so I removed them all and left the actual vent, but it looks terrible. I was better off leaving them in until I replaced the actual vent cover.

Hey Radiowaves, take it to the Sea Ray forum where it belongs. Or is it the detailing and fabrication forum? Or...

;)

LOL....... So true....

Brad,
U can thank me for those vents..... Searay made that entire post side one piece. The ice machine or refrigerator would over heat in summer months. They dont have it vented. I told them to install a vent BEHIND the port seat up high. They took the cheap way out . Still a design flaw as the cooler obstructs the vents. Why they dont listen ill never know .. . and in the begining they were telling me who's going to pay to remove the seat to retro fit... Im like who going to pay when u blow a compressor....

Now if the "Darn" thing would only work.....

LMAO...Thank you Les for keeping this post a little longer! It's cold, the canals are frozen over and the boats are under wraps...there isn't much boating to talk about for another five or six weeks.

That was great Brad, I take back my brain comment.

PS
That's a sweet looking helm.....

I kinda like the fish...........Its smell reminds me of something............just can't place it.

Ok… getting back to my electrical problem. My electronics mechanic advised me though Sea Ray that when SS3 originally replaced the Starboard Switch Panel back in 05 they should have also replaced the EIM module in that small access door below the steering wheel. This is where all components are wired though, so now most likely the lack of replacement of both parts caused my switch panel to fail. Each part is about $400, so $800 + labor. And I am now off of extended Passport warrantee except for engines and trainee one more year.

Below is the original thread on what I posted back in November….
