My tax bill has almost doubled, WTF, worst part is I can't use the town parks, but need to pay for them.

Really, I don't think mine did. I have to look.
I think mine is like a little over $500.
Is it because you have 2 slips?

The park thing has always had me and would love to do something about it. Could start a petition.
 
My real estate tax went up a little also........it does every year.
